tilt/69 series

March 21, 2007

While I’m drunk I usually execute the moves at my show in some inexact way, based on precision, and I make the most unpleasant mistake a clown can make: I laugh at my own aspect. What a humiliation! When I’m sober, the stage fright overwhelms me until I have to show my face, and what the critics used to name “that museful happiness, behind which you can hear your heart beats”, was nothing else but the desperate cold which I used to force myself into becoming a marionette; it’s pretty bad when someone cuts the strings attached and I fall all over myself.
